INVOCATION;  PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE AMERICAN FLAG; PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE TEXAS FLAG;  REMARKS FROM VISITORS;  CONSENT AGENDA  2.1 There came on to be a motion to accept the Consent Agenda.  A. Accept Commissioners Court Meeting Minutes for November 12, 2024. B. Accept the Auditor's Monthly Report for October 2024.  C.Appoint Rhonda Hughey to the Children's Shelter for a three-year term, beginning September 2024. County Veterans Memorial Park from Mr. Ken Watterson of Terrell, TX. Motion was put to a vote. Motion carried and is so ordered. amount of $5282.00 for use by Kaufman County Library. There came on to be a motion to accept the: 2024 Ladd & Katherine Hancher Foundation Library Grant in the  Motion was made by Commissioner Mike Hunt and seconded by Commissioner. Terry Barber. There came on to be a motion to approve canvass oft the election results for the November S, 2024, Motion was made by Commissioner Skeet Phillips and seconded by Commissioner Tommy Moore. There came on to be a motion to approve, attendance of Election Stafft tot the TACEO (Texas Association of County Election Officials) Midwinter Conference in South Padre, TX January 5-10, 2025 (FY25 Budgeted Item), and the associated closure of the Elections Office during this timeframe. There came on to be a motion to approve the variance requested by Nextera (Kaufman Solar, LLC) for Screening Standards; Per Section 12.04 oft the Subdivision and! Land Development Regulations, originally denied by the Development Support Committee. Variance includes 8' chain length fence with barb wire on top, surrounding facility, with 3'+ shrubberylandscaping as shown on drawing. Motion was made by County Judge. Jakie Allen and seconded by Commissioner Tommy Moore. 9. There came ont to be a motion to approve the County Motor Fuel Tax Exemption Resolution. There came on to be ar motion to approve exiting Regular Meeting and enter into Executive Session: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.071: Consultation with counsel regarding pending or contemplated litigation arising from the construction oft the Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center, the Kaufman County Justice Center, and the Kaufman County Justice Center Expansion buildings against, but not limited to, the following entities:  a. Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, Inc. ("HOK") Architect; b.MEPCE- HOK's Subconsultant for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes; C.JQ- HOK's Subconsultant for structural and civil engineering; d. Texas General Mechanical ("TGM") Prime Contractor for MEP andH HVAC; e.s SuperVoid: Systems TGM's Subcontractor for SuperVoid's proprietary plumbing system; f.Liberty Mutual Insurance Company- Surety for Performance Bond for TGM; g.
