CITY OF CALLAWAY PLANNING BOARD MEETING MINUTES NOVEMBER 19,2024-5:00P.M. The Callaway Planning Board met in regular session with John Hagan, Chairman, James Dougall, Vice- Chair, and Board Members, Theodore Conte, Ishmael Husam, & Spring Overway present. Board Member Jeffery Carnahan and Board Member Antonio Reeves were not in attendance. Also present were Ashley Robyck, City Clerk, Bill Frye, Public Works/Planning Director, Jay Mitchell, Administrative Support The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Hagan, followed by an invocation and the Pledge of Clerk, and Deputy Kip McKenzie. Allegiance. Roll Call was done by the Administrative Support Clerk, Jay Mitchell. APPROVAL OF MINUTES October 15,2 2024 Motion: A motion was made by Board Member Husam and seconded by Board Member Overway to approve the minutes ofOctober 15, 2024. The motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS 1. Rezoning Application- 157 N. Larry Drive Parcel ID#-06129-000-000 Bill Frye, Director of] Public Works reviewed the request to rezone 157N. Larry Dr. Vice-chair Dougall asks ift there will be any rentals or all for sale? Director Frye doesn't know the plans yet. Board Member Husam points out that the property owner is not local, but either way, the city needs the houses. Chairman Hagan calls for Public Participation. There was none. Motion: unanimously. A motion was made by Vice-Chair Dougall and seconded by Board Member Conte to approve the request to rezone 157 N Larry St., recommending the same to the Commission.
