City Manager Williams presented the report and read the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors' August 7,2024 agenda title into the record: "Item No. I - Receive a report from County staff about the work and consultation that the Board of Supervisors directed regarding the proposal to place on the ballot at the November 5, 2024 General Presidential Election an Article 34 ballot measure and provide direction ACTION new City Attorney. regarding any future steps." Councilmember Papan is the Council-designated liaison to the Chamber of Commerce, and Mayor Fung attended as the City is also a member oft the Chamber.
