GREENE COUNTY DEVELOPMENT. AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, April 9, 2023 8:00 a.m. Greene County. Administration Building Commission Conference Room 1034 Silver Drive, Greensboro, GA3 30642.  Members present were Scott Tolleson (Chairman), Rabun Neal (Vice-Chairman), Sam Young (Secretary), Vincent Lewis (Assistant Secretary), Dee Lindsey, Mark Lipscomb. Others present were David DuBois (Economic Development Director), Rope Roberts (Consultant), Celeste Thurmond (Tax Commissioner candidate), Jim' Thurmond, Mark Schulz Chairman-Greene County Republican  Party), Eric Smith (AirportAdvisory Board).  I.  Call to Order  Chairman Tolleson called the meeting to order at 8:01 am. Minutes of] March 12, 2024 meeting reviewed by board members.  II. Approval ofl March 12, 2024 Minutes  MOTION: Motion to approve thei minutes oft the March 12, 20241 meeting was madel by Vincent! Lewis  and seconded by Mark Lipscomb.  VOTE: Motion was approved by unanimous vote.  III. Review and Approval of] Financial Reports as of April 9, 2024  Financial reports as of April 9, 2024 and monthly statement were distributed for review for informational purposes only. Sam Young and Scott' Tolleson discussed details oft the financial MOTION: Motion to approve financial reports fori informational purposes only was made by Dee  statements and automatic: renewal of certificates of deposit.  Lindsey and seconded by Vincent Lewis. VOTE: Motion was approved by unanimous vote.  IV. Business Items  A. Economic Development Strategic Plan Kickoff Presentation and Discussion  a. Rope Roberts presented key points of consideration and led a discussion of strategic planning for future industrial, commercial, and residential development for Greene  County.  V. Public Comments  Mark Schulz announced April 16th Town Hall Meeting of Greene County Republican Party.  Celeste Thurmond announced: shei is running for Tax Commissioner. Eric Smith commented that the discussion was good and positive. There wasi no need for an executive session at this time.  VI. Executive Session VII.
