Public Comments - Melanie Johnson would like to inform the council she would like to purchase a piece of furniture the city has. She also informed the Council of the status on the park benches. E. After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilmember Rosales and seconded by Councilmember Lyssy to approve the Consent Agenda. After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilmember Loya to designate founders day as a special event and to authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages. (6) Discuss and take possible action on whether the city wishes to proceed with a request from Lee Garcia, Jr to close the city-owned alley located on BLK 9 between Travis and Bowie Street, Karnes City, Texas - No discussion, no action taken. (7)) Discuss and take possible action on whether the city wishes to proceed with the proposed dedication of Brosig Drive to the City - CM Butler informed the Council of the issues with the driveway permit off 123 and the narrow entrance off Riddleville. HWY 123, Karnes City, Texas- Haylee informed the Council the contractor is asking for all cost ofi materials up front, he will not start work unless it is paid in full.
