Consideration and action on a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hempstead, Texas amending Section 14 "Vehicle Use Policy" of the Employee Guide to include motorized equipment and repayment to the city for certain damage; and providing for an 5. Consideration and action on Parade Permit from Hempstead Commerce & Civic Association for a parade to be held Saturday, December 7, 2024. 8. Consideration and action on a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Hempstead, Texas street closures for Hempstead Commerce and Civic Association Festival ofLights. 9. Consideration and action from Hempstead Commerce & Civic Association for Hotel/  effective date.  findings and other provisions related to the subject.  Motel Funds in the amount of $5,000 for advertising and signage.  10. Council Reports-  a. Veronica Klausmeyer- wanted to thank all the city employees for participating in  the trunk or treat event for the community.    b. Nora Hodge-Representative from Asphalt Zipper will meet with Public Works and Street Department on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, to demonstrate use of  their machine that would save money on pothole repair.
