An amendment to the City of Floresville Code of Ordinances, Title XV-L Land Usage, adding a new Chapter 157- Signs establishing regulation of signs, including regulation of billboards and electronic message signs, within the city limits and extraterritorial  jurisdiction (ET. If it does go into Executive Session, the Floresville City Council may deliberate in executive session, vote on the matter in open session, and  announce it for the minutes.    a. According to our zoning this is not a permitted use. They cannot open until they come apply for a special use permit which intel a lot ofv work to be done. Our staff will take the process like we all do. Special use permits must be specific andi then they must goi through the channels of planning and zoning and ultimately the City 2) The council received a draft update through. Ashley Trejo, our communication specialist who is in constant contact with everybody. As we know, in circumstances like this they are very difficult. We keep the families effected in our prayers andi we will move forward as we 3) The city Attorney and City Manager have work to do on the EMC Contract. The City Attorney and City Manager will take the lead and come back with their recommendations  above items (1), (2) and (3)  Council.
