CALLMEFINGTOONDER  Chairman Adam Persky called the Eastern Carolina Aviation Heritage Foundation (ECAHF) Development Committee meeting to order at 3:30 pm on October 1, 2024 at the National Night  Outa at Walter B. Jones Park, Havelock, NC, with a quorum present.  B. APROVALOFMINUIES  Chairman Adam Persky presented the minutes to the committee for their review and approval. Tom Braaten made ai motion to approve the September 3,2024 Development Committee minutes with  no corrections. The motion carried unanimously. . OLDBUSINESS L. Gala 2025- - February. 21, 2025  Chairman Adam Persky requested an update on the request for a guest speaker representative from NASA. Tom Braaten replied that NASAI has sentl backar request for additional information. Pam Holder reported a response is being drafted. Alternate speakers were discussed. Tom Braaten mentioned the BoardandI Development Committee had previously made suggestions, one being Guy Nelson to discuss drones Chairman Adam Persky reported ECAHF: is participating at thel National Night Out. Falll Members and Partners Night is on the calendar for Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from Pam Holder advised the Committee caterers who agreed to participate are The Flame, Mucho Bueno and the TECwith possibility of participation from Sagebrush and Mission BBQ. Shortway Brewing has been contacted, but have not yet had a reply.  or an Air Traffic Controller.  2. National Night Out  3. Falll Members and Partners Night  6pm to 8pm. Pam Holder mentioned a sign-up sheet for volunteers will be presented at the Board  obstacle course, Legos for landing pad construction and Oculus.  Thel RSVPs are requested by October 15h. Meeting on October 11,2 2024.  4. Recommendations for At-Large Seat and Retired. Marine/Navy Seat The Committee discussed potential candidates for the vacant seats.  D. NEW BUSINESS  1. NASA Expedition 73. In-Flight Education DownLink. Engagement. Application  Pam Holder reported that an application is in process for NASA Expedition Downlink Engagement. The plan would be to include summer camp students from City of Havelock Summer Day Camp, CCC Middle School Camp and Cherry Tree House  Summer Day Camp. No additional items. F. ADOURAMENT/RECE for November 5, 2024.  E. ITEMS FROMTHE CHAIR AND/OR COMMITTEE  With no further business to discuss, Chairman Adam Persky requested a motion to adjourn at 4:11pm.
