Andersen stated that if we would like to seal the price on the 2025 Grader purchase, a decision willl have to be made before the end of Commissioner Gates moved to approve the purchase of a Motor Grader with a Rock and Roll Packer in the amount of $427,383.13 to be purchased out of Fund 2. Commissioner Mowing Report = Andersen provided the Commissioners with a mowing report. Area Y-12 will be finished this week.. Areas' Y-13, Y-10 and Y-8 will follow. After those areas are complete, areas Y-4 and Andersen to get the position advertised. October. Human Services The Board of County Commissioners convened as the Board of Social Services at 9:30 a.m. Human Services Director Karal Hoover, Administrative, Assistant Loris Summers, Income Maintenance Supervisor Dalene Rogers, Child Welfare & Adult Protection! Supervisor Hollie Hillmanand Child' Welfare Caseworker Nathon Reinick were present. Detailed minutes of the Board of Social Services are maintained separately by the Department of Human Services. The Board of County Commissioners reconvened at 11:00 a.m. CTSI The Commissioners were. joined by Meredith Burcham, Executive Director of County Technical Services, Inc. (CTSI) via GoTo Meetings at 11:00am. Marissa provided the commissioners with an overview of CTSI's services, which include three pools of insurance for counties across Colorado: County Health Pool, County Workers' Compensation and Casualty and Property Insurance. In addition to insurance, CTSI offers risk management, loss control, employee education and human resource assistance. Signatures and Ratifications - Resolutions/Ordinances/Signatures: Commissioner Weaver moved to sign Resolution 10-15-2024A Opposition of Ballot Initiative 31. Commissioner Gates seconded the motion, which passed by unanimous vote. Commissioner Gates moved to ratify the approval for a purchase of a new garage door for the vehicle storage building. The purchase will be made out of Fund 01-109. Commissioner Commissioner Gates moved to ratify the bid for tree removal int front oft the courthouse. The expense willl bes spent out ofF Fund 01-109. Commissioner Weaver seconded the motion which Commissioner Weaver moved to ratify the approval of the revised rental fees at the Yuma County Fairgrounds. Non-profit organizations will be charges 25% of the standard rental fees. Commissioner Gates seconded the motion, which was approved by unanimous vote. Commissioner Weaver moved ratify the approval of the signature on the Landfill Assurance Letter for the 2023 Audit. Commissioner Gates seconded the motion. The motion passed by Department Reports - The Commissioners received various department reports including an update on the administration of the Eastern Transportation Planning Region, discussion of business undertaken! by the 911 Authority Board and' Washington Yuma Combined Communications Board." The group also discussed upcoming events such as the employee Christmas party and Ag Week. Correspondence = Ritchey presented two reimbursement requests for review: one from Yuma Commissioner Weaver moved to approve the budgeted reimbursement request for Idalia Ambulance Service for $7,198.43 to be paid out of 01-403.
