Town Councilmember. Lopin will be sworn and take seat on the San Anselmo Town Council at the Dec. 13, Mayor Greene announced the meeting will adjourn in memory of Stephanie Roth, al long-time 2011 Town Council meeting. volunteer for the Town who passed away on October 30, 2011. Woody Weingarten presented the Quality ofLife Silver Award tol Richard Stutsman for his 35 years of volunteer firefighting and his service on the Flood Committee. OPENTIME FOR PUBLIC EXPRESSION Ted Freeman, reported on the San Anselmo Library Oversight Committee stating the five member committee has met two times SO far, once in June 2011 and again in November 2011 and discussed enhanced library services and budget expenditures assuring the public that library parcel tax money is spent on what was promised to the voters: increased library hours, improved children services and enhancement of general library services. Finally she thanked all volunteers and community partners who make San Anselmo such a wonderful place to live. Maynard stated the long term problem is that San Anselmo depends on a lot of mutual aid and if we become a non player we are going against what we committed to in 1950 and we: risk the chance ofi not having mutual aid provided to us when we: need it. Officers set up a search perimeter and found the female suspect. In her possession they found items that were traced to' a previous burglary. Shared- Services detectives followed up with a search warrant to the suspects Fairfax residence in which they found numerous stolen property items including laptops, I-phones and jewelry. A significant amount of stolen items found. at the suspects residence have been traced to at least ten separate burglaries in Greene for his re-election to Council. service to the community. There are two vacant seats. JoAnn Hartley, Katie Rice Jones and Natalia Mazina have applied for the positions and all three have been interviewed by Council. APPROVE ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTON TO NEIGHBORHOOD PAVING PROJECT ONI ELCERRITO AVENUE,INAN, AMOUNT NOTTO EXCEED $1,735. Public Works Director Sean Condry presented the staff report. The paving of non-maintained roads consists ofa 75% contribution from residents and a 25% contribution from the Town. On October 25, 2011 Town Council approved a contribution of $1257.50 toward the paving of El Cerrito Avenue. The residents of El Cerrito Avenue have decided to pave an additional section of the road increasing the original contract amount to $11,970. El Cerrito Avenue residents have requested the Town increase its contribution from $1,257.50 to $2,992.50 or 25% oft the $11,970. There was no comment from the public. Public Comment Policy on use of electronic devices San Anselmo résident Roberta Robinson wonders ifit would easier to have all committee members use electronic devices to access meeting information rather than binders. 4 Minutes of San Anselmo Town Council meeting November 15,2011 San Anselmo resident Kelly Willrich commented on technology as to where we are as a society and what can be possible regarding electronic use for Board, Commission and Committee meetings and the availability for citizens to be able to talk at the meetings via Skype.
