Jauregui, Community Development Director Kim Weimer, Director of Finance and Admin Services Jose' Vasquez, Public Works Superintendent Sarah Chavarin, Accounting Manager Lloyd MacKinnon, Chief of Police  1,  PUBLIC BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR (No Action Taken):  Hughson resident Michael Brooks provided comment on the Hughson Municipal Code Section 10.32.060 - Stopping, Standing, and Parking Sale or demonstration prohibited. CONSENT CALENDAR:  3.1: Approval of the Minutes oft the Regular Meeting of September 23, 2024.  3.2: Approval oft the Warrants.  3.3: Authorizing the Purchase of One Lazer X: 801KA Platform 60" Mower with Mulch 3.4: Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-36, Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Contract with McAuley Ford fori the Purchase of One 2024 Ford F250 Regular Cab, 4x2, Gas, 8ft Scelzi Utility Body with Tommy Gate 1600# Capacity Liftgate, in an  Kiti ini the Amount Not to Exceed of $21,239.44.  Amount Not-to-Exceed $69,123.04.  3.5: Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-37, Authorizing the Submittal of a Grant Application tot the San. Joaquin' Valley Air Pollution Control District forthe Purchase of New Alternative Fuel Vehicles, and if Awarded, Authorize the City Manager to Accept the Grant and! Sign alll Necessary Documents Related to the Purchase ofthe  Vehicles.  3.6: Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-38, Authorizing the City Manager to Enter into an Agreement with Symbium, to Provide Cloud-based Software Services to Meet the Requirements of Senate Bill (SB) 379, which Mandates Streamlined Solar  Energy System Permitting. City Manager Romo informed the City Council that she attended NIMS Training.  City Clerk Gose informed the City Council that the Trunk, or Tent and Treat will include food  vendors this year.  8.2: Council Member/Mayor Comments:  Mayor Pro Tem Crooker updated the Council on his attendance at the Stanislaus County Mayor Carr updated the Council on his attendance at a StanRTA Transit Conference. He spoke on what he learned about hydrogen buses, regulations and recharging of the buses, and the other complex issues transit agencies are experiencing regarding maintenance of hydrogen Mayor Carra also providedar reminder regarding the Trunk, or Tent and Treat, Moviei in the Park, and the General Municipal Election. He then encouraged residents to vote for Hughson High  Economic Development Action Committee (EDAC) meeting.  buses.  School Football Team in the T-Mobile 5G Stadium Makeover Contest.  9.  CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING:  9.1: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION  (Paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9) Name of case: Souza et al. V.  CalPERS; Court of Appeal Case No. C099861  Mayor Carr adjourned into Closed Session at 6:19 PM.  All the Councimembers were present for the duration of the session.
