Mayor Margolis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION There were no Executive Session items. 3. Presentation of Rowlett' Veterans Recognition Program certificate to Allen Leon Jones, Mayor Margolis, along with Chris Kizziar of Veterans Resource & Outreach Center of Rowlett, Alexis Culpepper, and Glenda Moore of Quilts ofValor, presented Mr. Jones with a certificate from the City Council and a quilt. 4B. Update from the City Council and Management: Financial Position, Major Projects, Operational Issues, Upcoming! Dates of Interest and Items of Community Interest. Mayor Pro Tem Winget presented the following announcements: City of Rowlett 10703 City Secretary's Office = Rowlett citizens are encouraged to participate in their municipal government through service on various City boards and commissions. Applications will be Community Development - We have continued to receive positive results for West Nile Virus in our test traps. Stay tuned for alerts for spraying within the affected zones. Discuss and consider approval of an ordinance reviewing and approving the Annual Bayside Public Improvement District (PID) Service Plan Update including the annual update to the Assessment Roll fort the Northmprovement Area pursuant to the Service and Assessment Plan for the Bayside Wendy Badgett, Director of Finance, introduced the items. She stated annual updates to PIDs are required and the purpose of these items are to update the Service and Assessment Plans, the Josh Arendt, MuriCap Administrator, presented the report for this item along with Items 7B and A motion was made by Councilmember Britton, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Winget, to approve the itemas presented by staff.
