Supervisor Easter provided the invocation.  BakerTilly presented information on1 the salary compensation study. Supervisor Scott presented ideas for the Constitutional Officer Pay. information on upgrading the Emergency Radio System.  Kent Emerson and representatives from Community Technology Advancement presented Daryl Gough and Glen Wilkerson addressed the Board about the proposal on improvements to the sports field behind the library. Onamotion by Supervisor Weyant Supervisor Scott, along with Supervisor Felts and Shawn Stern discussed improvements  the Board unanimously agreed to move forward. regarding technology for the County. Kent Emerson, Emergency Management and Cheryl Jiggets of CTA Consultants reported Sam Carroll, B&B Consultants gave an update on the water and sewer extension project. Onar motion by Supervisor Harris, the Board decided to remove the Training Center Supervisor Felts requested information on the projects submitted for federal grants. Pursuant to Code of Virginia $2.2-3711,A3, Discussion or consideration of the acquisition ofreal property for a public purpose, or oft the disposition of publicly held real property, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy ofthe public body, and A6, Discussion or consideration ofthe investment of public funds where competition or bargaining is involved, where, ifmade public initially, the financial interest ofthe governmental unit would be adversely affected, the Board entered into closed session on a motion by Supervisor Scott.  project from Capital Improvement Projects.
