The Board reported on meetings they have attended. Renee Winfree was honored for her 11 years of service on the Planning Commission. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE Aj public hearing was held for the FY 2023 Budget. Crystal Homes send an email against reducing the extra funding budget for the Samantha Ellington expressed her concern regarding the budget process Sherry Spurlock voiced he objection regarding the school budget. Angela Harrison voiced her objection regarding the school budget Bob Sesterak spoke in support of funding the Emergency Services Brandy Coward emailed against the reducing the extra funding for the schools. Jonathan Krause emailed his opposition to reducing the extra funding to the Martin Konkel stated that the schools are requesting more: money with less Bobby Lipes stated money won'timprove the quality ofe education. Rachael Nelson suggested the Board volunteer their time at the schools. Mike Nellar supported fulling funding what the increases the School board asked for. Supervisor Weyant said he was ashamed of a Board member discouraging school Supervisor Robinson corrected the claim he discouraged school board supporters from speaking out. He said it did not help to have them "pack the auditorium."
