TAYLOR HARVIE, III, COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR BRADY DEAL, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT  Chairman Felts called the. April 22, 2024, Continued Meeting oft the Amelia County Board of Supervisors to order at 5:00 P.M. and determined there was a quorum with all five members  participating.  COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: A. Special Event Permit- Walk forLife  Supervisor Felts presented the received road closure resolution. Supervisor Jones motioned to approve the walk for life event. 5-0; Motion  passed.  OLD/NEW BUSINESS A. FY25 Budget Discussion  Brady presented additional information that was requested from the last meeting provided by the Commissioner of Revenue that includes revenue and fee details. The board discussed changes in ordinances regarding land use and decal fees. Brady presented Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Treasurer's Office Supervisor Easter discussed a possible fee for courthouse square rental. The board discussed school funding and decreasing or cutting travel expense Supervisor Easter decreasing the board members pay to $500 a month.
