Taylor Harvie, III, County Administrator Holly Steele, Director of Community Development  Supervisor Easter called the workshop meeting to order and determined there was a Supervisor Easter provided the invocation. Everyone. joined in for the Pledge of The agenda was amended to include an announcement of an event coming to Amelia Sam Carroll, B&B Consultants gave ai final report on the water and sewer extension Robert Lauterberg addressed the Board regarding financing options for Capital Supervisor Weyant, and Rebecca Worley of VDOT led the discussion for the Six Year County Attorney, Jeff Gore reported on options the Board has in dealing with problem  quorum with all five members in attendance.  Allegiance. County. project.  Improvement Projects.  Plan.  properties ini the County.  The Board discussed the taxation of solar farms.  County Administrator, Taylor Harvie updated the Board on the taxation of cigarettes. Supervisor Easter discussed the creation ofa committee for the personnel policy review. David Felts advised the Board that Field Day oft thej past would be coming to Amelia.    Being no further business, the. June 9, 2021 Workshop was adjourned on a motion by  Supervisor Harris. Taylor Harvje, III Amelia County Administrator    After entering back into open session, the Board certified the following;  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Amelia Board of Supervisors hereby certifies that to the best of each member's knowledge, (1) only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act were. heard, discussed or considered in the closed meeting to which this certification applies, and (2) only such public business matters, as were identified in the motion by which the closed meeting was convened, were heard, discussed or considered in the meeting to which this  certification applies.
