PAULDING COUNTY DEVELOPMENT WAIVER REVIEW COMMITTEE June 18, 2024 The meeting oft the Paulding County Development Waiver Review Committee was held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Watson Government Complex Administration Building, in the Board of Commissioners Conference Room. Development Waiver Review Committee Members present were Ann Lippmann, Community Development Director; Bruce Coyle, County Engineer; Department of Transportation Director; George. Jones; and County Manager; Frank Baker. Staff present included Planning Tech, Leah Wilson; GIS Analyst; Mark Long, County Attorney; J.. Jayson Phillips and Deputy R. FOR: Baker, Coyle, Jones and Lippmann Ms. Ann Lippmann mentioned Board member Ray Wooten will not be present at today's meeting; also adding although this application is within the city limits ofH Hiram, the Development Waiver Review 2024-03-SBV (CoH): Application by AIDE BARRONG CASTILLOIJOELI LARKINreqguesting to waive the 50ft undisturbed City & County stream buffer along the south side of the property and waive the adjacent 25ft setback due to topography and irregularity of lot shape. Property is located in Land Lots 543; District 2; Section 3; west side of] Highway 92 (Hiram. Acworth Hwy), north of] Jimmy Lee Smith Joel L.J Larkin, on behalf of the applicant, restated the intention for the waiver request oft the county undisturbed and impervious buffers. Mr. Larkin stated the applicant has the property under contract to develop a car lot; however, in order to develop the property, the issue oft the stream buffer needed to be addressed. Mr. Larkin stated he has worked with the county's engineer as to mitigation and advanced There was a brief discussion where county engineer Bruce Coyle spoke to the water quality treatment and George. Jones asked whether the updated site plan has been shared with Georgia Department of Transportation as it relates to the access points for the proposed site. Mr. Larkin stated it had not.
