John Westmoreland calledt the meeting to order at5 5:00F PM.  Commissioner Halls stated thel building codes were adopted in 1992 and needed updating. He further stated that a committee of 8 reviewed the Land Development Code and that the codes were updated tot fit this day and time. He stated that the changes were not significant. Building Official Greg Mahan addressed the commission and gave a report ont the changes that were made tot the coder regarding subdivisions, he stated that most oft the changes were for Building Officçial Steve Owens, addressed the commission and gave ar report discussing the There was a discussion about making the major corridors entering Baldwin County neater and enacting policies that encouraged development and having a good plan for all development. There was ac discussion about Section 16-49 () entitled Gated Subdivisions and whether or not county tax dollars should maintain public roadsi ing gated subdivisions that limited access to the all citizens. PUBLIC COMMENT  Thei following people were recognized to addressed the Board:  Nikki Meeks of 146 Meeks Road stated that the county should not payf for private roads. She commented that there was no prayer at theb beginning of this meeting. Ms. Meeks handed out    newspaper articles to commissioners. Ms. Meeks asked thatt the stop sign on! Meek Road! have Desiree Liggins of 103 Pine Ridge Roadi readt the definition of public streets and private roads.  blinking lights oni it.  She stated that citizens should not payt to maintain private roads.  ADJOURNMENT  Commissioner Butts made ar motion to adjourn at 5:28 PM.
