Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes- March 27, 2018  The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, March 27, 2018. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 11:00 am. Commissioner Wilson opened  W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson.  with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Carroll followed with prayer.  APPROVED - MINUTES -I MARCH 13. 2018 - REGULAR SESSION  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 13, 2018 Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  Commission meeting.  APPROVED - PROCLAMATION - CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve signing a proclamation for the month of April  as Child Abuse Prevention Month.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - EMPLOYEE CHANGE OF STATUS  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the following employee changes:  1) Jamaya Dubose, from temporary. jailer at $8.67 to correctional officer at $9.60 per hr. 2) Collin Painter, from temporary. jailer at $8.501 to correctional officer at $9.60 per hr.  Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - TRAVEL REQUEST  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the following travel request: 1) Road and Bridge, Derek Brewer and Drew Meacham, May 7 -10, 2018, ACEA. Annual Conference, Perdido Beach, AL. $1,720.00  Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Total cost- $1,112.80. Funded 50% from  General fund and 50% by requesting entity.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  TABLED - IDLEWOODFARM ROAD- WORK REQUEST  Work request for Idlewood Farm Road was tabled with the request for more information.  APPROVED - INVOICESTO BE PAID - JAIL AD VALOREM FUND  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve pay with Jail Ad' Valorem:  1) Troy Cablevision, new server for jail- $5,831.77.  2) Hagler Heating and Cooling, 4.0-ton A/C with 80% gas furnace $5,936.00.  Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - VOTERS' LIST ADVERTISING  Commissioner Gary made a motion to leave the voters' list advertising to the discretion Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  of the Dale County Probate Judge.  APPROVED - FREE LANDFILL DAY  Commissioner Gary made a motion to have the free landfill day on Saturday April 28, 2018. Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Motion carried.  sign the Lovey's Home Plate Diner Alcohol License.  APPROVE- - EXPENSE REIMBURSMENT FOR CORONER  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve a maximum of $1,500.00 reimbursement of expenses incurred by the Coroner for the performance of duties oft the Deputy Coroner. Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS  Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve the memorandum of warrants.  1) Payroll check numbers 154452 -1 154453. 2) Payroll direct deposit numbers 26741 -2 26880. 3) Accounts Payable check numbers 79386-79538. Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried  ANNOUNCEMENT - NEXT REGULAR MEETING  Chairman Blankenship announced that the next regular meeting of the Dale County  Commission will be Tuesday April 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  ADJOURNMENT: CONFIRMATORY STATEMENT  Commission Chairman Blankenship made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
