CANTU CITY ATTORNEY: PUJA BOINPALLY  Mayor Alexander explained the property is being purchased by the City of Fort Stockton utilizing the following funds: hotel/motel taxes from the Convention & Visitor's Bureau and the Sales Tax from the Economic Development Corporation Itwill primarily be utilized by the Convention & Visitor's Bureau for an Event Center with breakout rooms to be utilized for training and/or meetings. The  4-A.  kitchen, snack bar area, theatre & restrooms will remain. The bowling alley portion will probably be sold off.  The Putt-putt golfarea will be reconfigured with a stage for possible concerts to be Fort Stockton Pioneer Interim Editor Sadek inquired the price Stockton's Mayor Alexander replied the property is being purchased for $1.2 Million, which  held.
