Council Member Darren Hodges gave the Invocation. & the Pledge of Allegiance toi the Texas Flag. Mayor Pro-Tem James Warnock led the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America Flag PRESENTATIONS: 1. Commend the Fort Stockton Panther Track Team for their exemplary performance for this season, which qualified them for State. (Mayor) Council Member Ruben Falcon presented the following members of the Fort Stockton Panther Track Team with Certificates of Recognition for assisting their team in qualifying for State. City Secretary Marina Cantu explained the purpose of this Resolution was to appoint Lindal Blanco as the Presiding Judge, Sandy Young as the Early Voting Ballot Board Judge and Abbey Allen as the Alternate Judge and Alternate Early Voting Ballot Board Furthermore, the Resolution designates the rate of pay as $14.00 per hour and sets the minimum number of election clerks as 3 for the Pecos County Annex Building, Election Stonegarden (OPSG) for 2022-2024. This property does not have an alley; therefore, an Easement Agreement is required to get utilities to this property. Assistant City Manager Jesse Gonzales, Jr. explained this is for the Purchase of the Motor Grader that was previously approved in April, this would authorize the payment of $334,000.00. The Motor Grader has already been delivered and is being used.
