Alexander called the Special Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. after declaring  aquorum present.  Mayor Pro-Tem Ureta gave the Invocation.  Council Member Warnock led the Pledge of Allegiance & Pledge to the Texas  Flag.  Mayor. Alexander read the Mission Statement:  "The Mission of the City of Fort Stockton Municipal Government is to Promote & Value Public Confidence and Trust by the Accountable and Responsible Use of Community Resources; to Ensure Public Safety; Improve Public Services; Promote Local Recreation and Entertainment; and Generate  Economic Development." FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS:  1. Discuss/Act upon Resolution No. 20-11R,Approvying the Official Canvass Mayor Alexander advised everyone that 3,792 votes were cast at the City General Election to Elect Three (3) Council Members to 2-year terms each.  for the November. 3, 2020 City General Election.  Results were as follows: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Pamela Pepper Palileo Darren Hodges Gilray Madrid James B. Warnock Mike Stallard  1,134* 1,638* 1,089 1,112* 538  Pamela Pepper Palileo was Re-Elected Council Member to her Second Term, Darren Hodges was elected to his First Term, and James B. Warnock was Re- Motion was made, seconded and carried unanimously to Approve Resolution No. 20-111R, Approving the Official Canvass for the November 3, 2020 City  Elected tol his Second Term.
