Director of Finance Maria Rodriguez explained there have not been any changes to the City of Fort Stockton Investment Policy Manual; however, it is required that City Council review the Manual for Fiscal Year 2021-2022. The current interest rates are low; therefore, no changes have been made. The current LOGIC interest rate is at 0.12%. The City ofF Fort Stockton is getting better interest rates at our local bank. Block Assistant City Manager Jesse Gonzales explained that Mr. Johnson originally had a survey prepared which had a utility easement running across someone else's property. In order to accommodate both property owners the utility easement was redirected and run through Mr. Johnson's property. (Mayor/City Sec.) City Secretary Cantu explained that the County originally agreed tol hold the City General and Special Election at the Pecos County Annex Building, Election Room; however, due to the Constitutional Amendment Election being held at the same time, the polling locations must be utilized. Therefore, the polling locations for Precincts 1,2,7& 10 will be utilized for Election Day. Early Voting will be held at the Pecos County Annex Building, Election Room.
