Council Member Warnock led the Pledge of Allegiance & Pledge to the Texas Flag. Mayor Alexander read the Mission Statement: "The Mission of the City of Fort Stockton Municipal Government is to Promote & Value Public Confidence and Trust by the Accountable and Responsible Use of Community Resources; to Ensure Public Safety; Improve Public Services; Promote! Discuss/Act upon Ordinance No. 20-101(b), Ordinance Continuing Declaration ofState ofLocal Disaster for Fort Stockton, Texas. City Attorney Puja Boinpally explained that this Ordinance would institute a 30- day continuance of the Declaration of State of Local Disaster for Fort Stockton, Motion was made, seconded and carried unanimously to Approve Ordinance No. 20-101(b), Ordinance Continuing Declaration of State ofLocal Disaster Texas. AEI Landfill - Project No. 17L0123A. Public Works Director Aaron Ramos explained that the City of Fort Stockton was requesting permission to Solicit Bids for Construction ofa Type ICell and a He explained if the schedule continued as planned the following would be the Type IV Cell along with the Culvert Storage Water Storage. The pre-construction meeting would be held sometime later this month. The bids could be opened sometime in June. City Council could award the bid sometime in July.
