Alexander called the Special Meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. after declaring a quorum present. SPECIAL BUSINESS: 1. Discuss/Act upon Resolution No. 22-101R, Al Resolution by the City Council ofthe City of Fort Stockton to. Approve the Rehabilitation of Affordable Rental Housing known as the Oasis Apartments located at 1501 N. Marshall Street, Fort Stockton, Texas. (Mayor/City Tom Andrews of the' Thomas Development Group, LLC explained they would like to rehabilitate the Oasis Apartments. He reminded everyone that his group was working on applying for funding from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs by next Tuesday. Discuss/Act upon Amendment to Convention Center Theater Management Agreement between the City of Fort Stockton and Lino and Collette Barragan. (City Mgr./CVBD Dir.) City Attorney Puja Boinpally explained she was asked to make a few clarifications to the original agreement between the City of Fort Stockton and Lino and Collette Barragan. The amendment to the agreement reads complimentary private screenings would have to be approved by the City Manager or the Convention and Visitor's Bureau Director. She also wanted to clarify that Lino and Collette Barragan would only be managing and operating the theater and concessions area. Collette Barragan asked for clarification ifth they would be allowed access to the restrooms and projection area as they are: not located in the theater or concession area. City Attorney Puja Boinpally replied that access to the restrooms and projection area Collette Barragan stated they would share the maintenance supplies. In addition, they would be responsible for ensuring that there are no scheduling conflicts between their screenings and events booked at the Convention Center. They would be responsible for cleaning the restrooms when they have screenings and there are no other scheduled events. Motion was made by Council Member Pam Palileo, seconded by Council Member James Warnock, and carried unanimously to approve. Discuss/Act upon Addendum to Gas Supply Contract between the City of Fort Stockton and BP Energy Company. (City Mgr./Dir. of Fin.) City Attorney Boinpally explained that this is an addendum to the Gas Supply Contract with MuniGas that essentially includes the middleman, BP Energy Company.
