Sims Ben Maples Angela Robles Isidro Renteria Connie Martinez Rick Pippins Clayton Williams Joe Morales Tommy Gonzales STAFF PRESENT: OTHERS PRESENT: NEWS MEDIA PRESENT: During Attending Citizens and their Business, Commissioner Brooks lets the Commission know that the Cowboy Christian Church willl be giving out free hot dogs for all: first responders on Friday, November 1, 2024, until 2:00 p.m. Mayor Brinkmann opened the Formal Session Alex Gurerro was unable to be present for the meeting, SO City Manager, Ben Maples, presented the agenda item in his absence. He lets the Commission know that Mr. Gurerro is wanting to put together a citizens committee in order to find ai new city manager. The Mayor and each Commissioner suggested names for possible citizens to sit on the committee, and there was discussion back and forth about who would be the right fit. A motion was made by Mayor Brinkmann, seconded by Commissioner Barr and passed unanimously to approve the final committee members to conduct the preliminary interviews for City Manager as Kathie Fuston, Travis Gibbins, Karen Tate, Tommy Packabush, Andy Ethridge, Clayton Blackshear, and Matt Matzke. Mayor Brinkmann convened into Executive Session at 11:41 a.m. in accordance with Tex. Gov't Code $551.072 to discuss and consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. Mayor Brinkmann reconvened into open session at 12:24 p.m. No action was taken. There being no further business on the agenda, the meeting was adjourned by Mayor Brinkmann. Meeting adjourned.
