Will not renew his membership in EDC for the next two years. Thomas Haaland and Mike Pons have submitted applications to renew their membership. Application deadline is Friday, Sept. 20. Texas Music Office Incubator program will be holding a second round of applications thru November. Noted August sales tax receipts were highest seen. July 16th, 2024 No comments, Thomas Haaland motion to accept, Susan Baker  6) Discussion and possible action to review final engineering plans for the East Public Parking Lot and to approve and recommend that the City Council award the East Municipal Lot project to the lowest bidder NL Concrete Services, for at total project amount of $578,844.77, with construction to be completed in 90  days. - Jonny Boultinghouse/Mike Kramm    Engineering complete. Two main hurdles remain before proceeding. 1) City Council approval, 2) Zoning Board of Adjustments meeting fora a "hardship" variance on property set-backs which placet the design in violation of There were 81 bidders int the RFQ. NLI was successful bidder and Guillermo, representing them in attendance. Thomas Haaland asked whether NL could do additional work developed by Roads and Drainage- - answeris Construction schedulei is around 90 days and willl be done in two phases. This will carry the work thrut the Holiday season. Timing willl be a challenge and contractor want to mobilize only once to keep costs down. Thomas Haaland motioned to approve NL as low bidder for contract amount. Jon Hildebrand seconded.  CLS ordinances. Hardshipi is that we would lose significant parking spaces.  they have the capability.  Spoils materials to be hauled offs site and disposed of.  Motion passed unanimously.  7) Discussion and possible action to approve FY2025 Budget for the Economic Development Corporation-  Cheryl Hunter approval.  Budget has been reviewed by members  Jonny Boultinghouse motion to approve FY: 2025 EDC Budget. Susan Baker seconded. Unanimous  8) Discussion and possible action to approve sponsorship funding for the Clear Lake Shores annual  Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - Jonny Boultinghouse/Dlana Chronister  Diana Chronister address the board.
