Operation of Treatment Plant and Collections System - Josh Taylor, the city's sewer operator, presented the report on the Operation oft the Treatment Plant and Collections Systems. The plant operated at: 23 percent of capacity for ther month of September and flowed an average of 0.46 MGD.. Josh updated onl Lift Stations 1,2, & 4,1 the generators at each lift station are waiting on injector pumps to be built and shipped to be fixed. AlL three generators have had old diesel pumped out and new B. Financial & Legislative Reports - Mayor John Benestante briefed Council withi the current financial profit and loss statements fort the General account, Sewer & Maintenance, Hotel/Motel, Capital Projects, Community Center, Legislative Updates, and Investment Report. John Benestante briefed Council with the current Grant/Fund Reports fort the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act-COVID-TIDEM, CDBG-MITMOD GL0-$631,000-Sewer Expansion), Texas CDBG (TDA: $500,000- Sewer), RCP-(GLO-$300,000 Flood Mitigation/Mapping: Studies/Zoning, Transportation Alternatives Set Aside (IXDOT$3,000,00,000-Sidewalks) Mayor Benestante asked for any comments or questions regardingreports. There were D. City Attorney Reports- City Attorney Greg Magee briefed Council he is working ona new policy called, Covered Application & Prohibited Technology Policy, whichi is . Sewer Reports: Briefing on sewer adjustments & sewer cutoffs - Assistant City Executive Administrator, Amanda Villa briefed Council ont the sewer adjustments madei to customer accounts ini the month of September. Amanda also briefed Council that there was one customer account that was locked in the month of F. Coldspring Community Center Report-Mayor John Benestante briefed council over the Coldspring Community Center. Mayor Benestante will be meeting soon with a potential architect and going over potential planningi ideas oft the new building. Discussion and possible action on recommending that William Baker be reappointed to the Board of Directors to represent the incorporated municipalities of San. Jacinto County.
