MINUTES OFTHE  CASTROVILLE, AIRPORT ADVISORY: BOARD MEETING Castroville Municipal Airport Conference Room, Oct7,2024 Call to Order- The meeting was called to order at 17:001 by John Klaerner, Board members Steve Burke, Ken Lange, and Kirby Turner were present. Others attending were Arnold Dollase, Chuck Friesenhahn, and Airport Manager Michael Haley. Public Comment Opportunity - Mr. Dollase stated that National Night Out went  I.  I.  well.  MI. August Fuel sales: AVGAS 5672 gal ($28k) JetA 1237 gal ($5400) C. Castroville has been upgraded to al REGIONALAirport due to the number of  operations and IFR operations. d. Wel have submitted for two projects:  i. Ahydrological survey (drainage). TXDOT estimates it will cost $200k or ii. Removal of the poles from the gate to the hail shed. AT&T already has a Wel have $100k available for RAMP Grant (Routine. Airport Maintenance Project) Wel had a $300k increase to our FY241 budget due to a one time payment for  $20k to us ini the 90/10 split. project number forit.  from TXDOT.  water from the city for at ten year program.  g. Review, Discussion, and potential recommendation Regarding the findings in the Castroville Municipal Airport Land Use Compliance Inspection Report, dated July 16, 2024: The $40k in kind contribution towards the Fair Market Value of the 18 acre ball park has been submitted but we don'tknow yeti ift the FAA will accept it. VL Discussion on TxDot funding opportunity and plans for submission. We have submitted fori the Hydrological Survey and the RAMP grant. AT&T Pole: removal. VIL.
