Possible grant for funds to buy a generator for the building was found to be an impossibillw, as the City does not qualify for the funds. Walters suggested that we look into other possibilities such as the salvage center in. Houston. or the public auction where we obtained. Mayor Davidson. appointed Brenda Chirafis to assign street addresses to residents of Bevil Oaks that do not now have an address. Marshall reported that patrol car needed that Marshall obtain three bids on patrol car repair and that he could proceed with the repair as long as the one chosen did not exceed $1500. Otherwise, the Mayor would call a special meeting on the ma tter. Adams reported that the Pire Dept. did not have their coatribution letter ready for us Many citizens voiced their opinions on the Trailer Park issue. Each citizen that wish ed to speak was given. a chance to state their opinion. Ed Milam spoke for a group of con- cerned citizens who presented the council with a. petition of 552 names who were against anyone. putting in another trailer park in Bevil Oaks.
