Hazard Mitigation Plan and related grant projects: Cody Powell, the emergency management coordinator, (Verbal) reports a delay in the hazardous fuel reduction project: because the project area exceeds 100 acres, FEMA is seeking an environmental preservation study. Powell is trying to resolve this and will inform the court on his progress. Judge Clark (Verbal) reports Powell and he were able to host an emergency management meeting with TDEM, working on some cooperation between the counties and the state. They are assisting Clark and Powell with some ofthe mitigation projects they are attempting to secure funding for, in which are being stalled in the federal slope procedures, like those with FEMA. 15. Right-of-Way Improvements: None 16. Burn Ban Update: Motion made by Burns, seconded by Lambert, and unanimously adopted by the Court to issue that burn ban to be in effect for 90 days where a burn ban would be in effect on those elevated, critical, red flag warning days as issued by weather service. Judge Clark, on behalfofFire Marshal, Jeff] Doughty, reports lifting the previous burn ban with changing weather conditions. He and Doughty state there's no need for a full-on weather burn ban.
