Address Recent Attempted Crime in Town Discuss Recent Attempted Crimes: Costello Discuss Possible Solutions: Costello Mayor Costello reviewed: recent attempted crimes in Town, which took place January 24 and February 18. Hiring off duty Montgomery County police who would be present in their police vehicle a couple nights a week, from lam - 6am. Hiring security firm Installing security cameras on Town streets Improving lighting int town Residents install ring cameras, alarm systems, outdoor lights. Reminder to residents to lock car and house doors sO the Town is not a target for crimes of opportunity. Leave porch lights on overnight. Resident Input 1 Some of the residents in attendance asked the Council to act on as solution for the near term.
