In response to questions, the Mayor confirmed that the Community Garden Committee agreed to all her suggested edits to the by-laws; Eva Webb of LSWG has addressed Council's ongoing concerns about the financial statements and will attend the June meeting; and the ARPA funds reporting has been completed. CM Stiglitz said that the bike path along MacArthur still needs a cleaning, and the Mayor said she'd call again. Former resident Angie Zeidenberg has been hired as the new Town Manager. Her start date is June 3. Social: OPERATIONS REPORT: Social; Infrastructure: Administrative: Earth Day, Community Garden Opening, Town Plant Exchange all occurred this month Summer Picnic: June 23 at5:00 PM Infrastructure: Post Office - New doors replaced and some other small maintenance, using Edgar Mendez, Elevator Replacement The Mayor has received two bids for replacing the elevator in Town Hall, but they aren't comparable. The one for $38K doesn't include some construction costs, but the one for $136K is for something more complicated than we need. The higher bid will be who works with Patty Sieber, rather than CASE's handyman service. reworked for a simpler "lift." There was discussion about ways to make the one-way clearer. There has also been an increase of cars parking on the inside of Vassar Circle, where parking is prohibited.
