Palm Ave., Howey-in-the-Hils, FL34737 MINUTES Town Manager, Sean O'Keefe, called the Town Council Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mr. O'Keefe led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance to thel Flag. ABSENT: Councilor ReneƩ Lannaman Councilor David Miles Mayor Pro Tem Marie V.Gallelli Mayor Martha MacFarlane FUTURE MEMBERS PRESENT: STAFF PRESENT: NEW BUSINESS Councilor Candidate Jon Arnold Councilor Candidate Tim Everline Councilor Candidate Graham Wells Sean O'Keefe, Town Manager Tom Harowski, Outgoing Town Planner Sean Parks, Incoming Town Planner John Brock, Deputy Town Manager/Town Clerk 1. Discussion: Major Development Status Update Councilor Lehning spoke to thei incoming Town Councilors and said that the Town's newly revised Land Development Code (LDC) should be considered the minimum requirement: for PUDs. Councilor Lehning told the incoming Councilors that he would like to see them hold the line on the LDC being the minimum allowance for PUDs, and not give up items to developers trying to negotiate items on their Town Manager, Sean O'Keefe, asked outgoing Town Planner, Tom Harowski, to come: forward and give his presentation on the status of major developments within the Town. A lengthy discussion/ question and answer session ensued while Mr. Harowski was reviewing his report. PUDs. 1/Page Incoming Town Councilor Wells asked that all incoming councilors be given maps ofa all the developments. PUBLIC COMMENTS Any person wishing to address the Mayor and Town Council and who is not on the agenda is asked to: speak their Fran Wagler, 409 W. Central Ave. - Mrs. Wagler asked questions about many oft the developments. Mrs. Bill Sullivan, 26336 SR19, Howey-in-the-Hills (unincorporated Lake County) - Mr. Sullivan announced that, even though he lives outside oft the Town, he recently purchased a house on Lakeshore Blvd. Mr. Sullivan advised the incoming' Town Councilors to ignore smaller lots. Mr. Sullivan also advised the incoming Town Councilors to Tom Ballou, 1005 N. Tangerine. Ave. - Mr. Ballou said that he would like to see a new sound system or Tina St. Clair, 135 E. Central Ave. - Mrs. St. Clair had questions about round-abouts and how they are paid for. name and address. Three (3) minutes is allocated! per speaker. Wagler disagreed with Mr. Harowski'ss synopsis oftrends in local development. be wary ofthe Central Lake CDD and the family (with 23 heirs) that runs it. microphone system int the Town Hall. Mr. Harowski described how the Town'st fairs share process should be set up. ADJOURNMENT Mr. O'Keefe thanked Mr. Harowski for his tenure with the Town as Town Planner. There being no further business to discuss, the Town Manager, Sean O'Keefe, adjourned the meeting.
