Call to Order: 7:00 p.m. Roll Call: Absent: None  Present: Directors English, Fardanesh, Logan, Mortensen and Petersen. Special Reports and/or Presentations:  San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department Update  - Commander Manuele provided a crime report for the month of September Seargent Rutter provided a traffic report for the months of July through Badge Pinning Ceremony - Fire Engineer Logan Handley and Firefighter Chief Peterson introduced both Logan Handley and Logan Knuckles and gave a brief background on each. They took their oath of office and Logan Knuckles was pinned by his mother and Logan Handley was pinned  California Highway Patrol Update  September Logan Knuckles  by his girlfriend. Public Comment: None Petersen seconded the motion.  a. Minutes: The Board will consider adoption of the meeting minutes of C. Treasurer Report: The Board will consider approving the July 2024 d. Budget Amendment - Fire Engine Repairs: The Board will consider approving a budget amendment in amount of $12,000.00 for repairs on the  Director Logan made a motion to approve consent agenda items a-c. Board Member Vacancy - Review of Interested Persons: The Board will review applications submitted for the vacant seat on the Board, and if deemed appropriate, will make a recommendation to the Count Board of Supervisors Director English made a motion to recommend to the County Board of Supervisors that Chelsea Tirone be appointed. Director Petersen seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote - Ayes: English, Petersen, Logan and Mortensen  regarding the appointment.
