FAX: (805)434-4820 As special meeting of the Templeton Community Services District (TCSD) Board of Directors was held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the TCSD Board Room located at 206 5th Street, Templeton, CA and via Zoom Teleconference.  Call to Order: 4:00 p.m.  Roll Call Absent: English  Present: Directors Fardanesh, Logan, Mortensen and Petersen remotely via Zoom Staff: General Manager Jeff Briltz, Fire Chief Tom Peterson, Fire Captain Phillip Goldbloom, Fire Captain Rob Baker, Fire Engineer Jordan Stewart, Firefighter Jaron GM Briltz announced that Director Petersen was participating via Zoom. Budget Amendment - Purchase of New Type 11 Fire Engine: The Board will consider approving a budget amendment in amount of $552,707.12, and authorizing the purchase of a new Type 1 Fire Engine from South Coast  Apparatus in the amount of $1,004,057.12.  Public Comment: None  Director Logan made a motion that the Board of Directors approve a budget amendment in the amount of $552,707.12 to fund Fire line item 700000 for the Type 1 Engine - Deposit and authorize for the purchase of a new Type 1 Fire Engine as described in the quotation from South Coast Fire in the amount of $1,004,057.12. Director Petersen seconded the motion.
