CONSENT CALENDAR:    City Council Minutes  August 12,2024  3.1: Approval oft the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 22, 2024. 3.2: Approval of the Minutes oft the Special Meeting of July 24, 2024.  3.3: Approval oft the Warrants.  3.4: Approve Designating Mayor George Carr as the Voting Delegate the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo on October 16-28, 2024, in Long  Beach, California.  CARR/MCFADON  5-0-0-0  motion passes to approve the Consent Calendar as  presented, with the following roll call vote:  CROOKER AYE  RUSH AYE NONE.  STRAIN AYE  MCFADON AYE  CARR AYE  4. 5. 6.  UNFINISHED BUSINESS: PUBLIC HEARING: NONE. NEW BUSINESS:  6.1: Consider the Updated. Attorney-Client Representation Agreement with Neumiller &B Beardslee and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement.  City Manager Romo presented the staff report on this item.  Mayor Carr opened public comment at 6:12PM. There was no public comment. Mayor Carr  closed public comment at 6:12PM. COMMENTS:  8.1: Staff Reports and/or Comments:  2    City Council Minutes  August 12, 2024  City Manager Romo informed the Council that they would be receiving their monthly report  this week.  City Clerk Gose provided an Election update.  Director of Finance Weimer provided an update regarding the financial audit.  Community Development Director Jauregui provided an update on the 2023 Surface Improvement Project, and several other items within the Community Development  Department.  Chief MacKinnon provided the statistical report for. July. 8.2: Council Member/Mayor Comments:  Councilmember Strain updated Council on her attendance at the School Safety Symposium on July 31, 2024. She also attended National Night Out on August 6, 2024. She will be attending Mayor Pro Tem Crooker updated Council on his attendance at National Night Out on August 6, Mayor Carr updated Council on his attendance at National Night Out on August 6, 2024. He also  the Hughson Historical Society Annual Dinner on August 17, 2024.  2024.  attended the Hughson Ministerial Breakfast on August 9, 2024. CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING: NONE.  9.  10.
