PORT ALLEGANY BOROUGH COUNCIL  Regular Meeting October 7, 2024  CALLTO ORDER- The Port Allegany Borough Council met on October 7, 2024 at the Borough Council Chambers. Those present were Council Members Jared Dickerson, Katie Dynda, Tom Johnson, Caleb Benson and Sam Dynda. Also present were Manager. Jeremy Morey, Secretary/Ireasurer Heather Szuba, and Mayor George Riley. Absent from  the meeting were Solicitor Nicole Larsen and Council Members Laura Fillhart and Cory Thomas.  There were no visitors present.  Council President Sam Dynda called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm, leading those in attendance with the Pledge of MINUTES Caleb Benson made a motion to approve the Minutes of the September 3, 2024 Regular Meeting as BILLLIST- After review, Jared Dickerson made ai motion to approve the September 2024 expenditures. Tom Johnson  Allegiance.  written. Jared Dickerson seconded. The motion carried unanimously. seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.  AMBULANCE REPORT: - The Ambulance report was provided by Nancy Hardes, ENGINEER'S REPORT - The Engineer's Report was provided by Chris Ernst.  MANAGER'S REPORT - The Manager's Report was provided and reviewed by Jeremy Morey. CODE ENFORCEMENT REPORT - Code Enforcement report was provided and reviewed by. Jeremy Morey. FIRE CHIEF'S REPORT- The Fire Chief's report was provided by ChiefMike. Johnson. POLICEMAYORS REPORT - The Police report was provided by Chief Distrola and reviewed by Mayor Riley. The Mayor announced that Trick or Treat will be held on October 31,2024 from 5:30-7:30 pm. SOLICITOR'S REPORT- - Manager Jeremy Morey reviewed the Solicitor's Report in Executive Session. EXECUTIVE SESSION President Sam Dynda called for an Executive Session at 6:44 to discuss a legal matter.  Regular session resumed at 6:47 pm. SECRETARY'S REPORT - Nothing to report. Burleson subdivision on Pearl Street. TAX: REPORTS  COMMITEE REPORTS - Manager Jeremy Morey reported that the Planning Commission will meet regarding the  Real Estate - 2024 Total Face Collected: $483,613 (83.37%) EIT- YTD September 2024-$ $173,369 (2023$ $163,010) LST-YTD September 2024-31,237 (2023$35,368)  2024 Total Uncollected $96,499  PUBLIC COMMENTS-None. IMMEDIATE ACTION  Katie Dynda made a motion to approve the County ARPA Reimbursement request for $19,601.82 for WWTP heating system and then to transfer $21,850 to the Sewer Authority for said heating system ($19,601.82 from County ARPA and $2,248.18 from Borough ARPA funds. Jared Dickerson seconded. Motion carried unanimously.  FUTURE ACTION Flood Control Project    ADJOURNMENT - As there was no further business, Caleb Benson made ai motion to adjourn.
