Public Works Department Week results (see report). Public Works Director Scott Barnhart summarized the Public Works department's monthly activity, completed projects, and Clean Up Day/Amnesty Old. Consideraton/APproa. of 2nd Reading of Property Conveyance Ordinance #2023-04121 This ordinance grants an easement fora City driveway at 293 Airport Road for Action: A motion was made by Stephanie Almagno to approve the 2nd Reading ofOrdinance #2023-04121 as presented with a second by 2. Consideration/APprovA of 1st Reading of ReveSolutions SUP Ordinance #2023- CAO Emily Woodmaster presented a request for a Special Use Permit from ReveSolutions for 181 Industrial Park Road, which is zoned Light Industrial. ReveSolutions, a waste disposal company, needs a Special Use Permit because Baldwin's current zoning ordinance does not consider this type of business in any abutting property owners to use. Business 4. onsideraton/APprova. of] Fire Department SiteMed Expense Woodmaster recapped for Council an opportunity Assistant Chief Shaun Benfield presented at the Council retreat. SiteMed is a mobile medical unit that provides fit-for-duty" physicals and medical testing for firefighters. These tests are more extensive than what is currently covered by our insurance for firefighters, including screenings for cancers to which firefighters are particularly susceptible. Because SiteMed requires a minimum of 45 employeesi in ordert to come toa location, Dawson County has agreed for all ten of Baldwin's firefighters to join on their testing dates in July. The cost will be $3,550.00 ($350.00 per employee), and will be considered a prepaid item, as the expense will be incurred before the Action: A motion was made by Stephanie Almagno to approve the Fire Department SiteMed expense, not to exceed $3,550, as presented with start ofthe new fiscal year, but the testing will occur in FY24. asecond by Maarten Venter. Motion Carried 4-0. 5. Discussion of GIRMA Liability for FY24 While this item does not require a Council vote, Woodmaster informed Council about a change in liability costs. Last year, the City signed a two-year contract with GIRMAtol locki in coverage, but the rate is different due to changes in the Council Meeting Minutes April 24th,2023 Page 2 number of vehicles and number of employees covered. There is a $10,956 increase from last year, and that increase covers all ofthe new PD Chevy Tahoes, the new: fire truck, and the Quick Response Vehicle. This will be brought to Council next year to renegotiate the agreement. No: action was taken. Executive Session Announcements a.
