Minutes City Council Meeting February 27th, 2023 6:30pm  GEORGIR  Baldwin Courtroom, 155 Willinghamz Avenue, Baldwin, GA30511  Acting Mayor Alice Venter, Council Member Larry Lewallen, Council Member Theron Ayers, Council Member Stephanie Almagno, and Council Member Maarten Venterwere  all in attendance. Call Meeting to Order Invocation and Pledge Consent. Agenda  Acting Mayor Alice Venter called the meeting to order at 6:30pm.  a. Approval of Minutes: Council Meeting 2/13/2023.  Action: A motion was made by Theron Ayers to approve the council meeting minutes from 2/13/2023 with a second by Stephanie  Almagno. Motion Carried 4-0.  Citizen Comment Public. Hearing Reports Old Business  1. Comsideration/APprona of Forced Entry Door Expense - $8,500.00  Police Chief Chris Jones addressed Council and recapped thej purchase request forai forced entry door for police and fire department training. The item was tabled at the previous council meeting because Fire ChiefJoe Roy was going to seeit ifHabersham Metal if could build the entry door instead. It was determined, however, that Habersham Metal would not be ablei to build the door to match the caliber ofthe originally proposed purchase from Forcible Entry, Inc. The cost will be expensed from public safety funds allocated to previous projects that were completed under budget and will be split between the police department and fire department, with each department contributing $4,250. Action: A motion was made by to Stephanie Almagno to reallocate $10,022.07 from the remaining funds from the completed projects list to available funds within public safety funds with a second by Action: A motion was made by Larry Lewallen to approve the purchase of a forced entry door not to exceed $8,500 and to be  Maarten Venter.
