CITIZENS PARTICIPATION AND COMMENTS An opportunity for citizens to address the City Council on matters which are not scheduled for consideration. To address the Council, please fill out a speaker form and turn into the Town Secretary. The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits deliberation byt the Council ofanys subject which isr not on the posted agenda, therefore the Council will not be able to discuss or act on items brought up during the citizen's participation. Karen Boelkins, 101 Silver Hill Dr, spoke regarding establishing shared garden and requested addition pickleball parking. III. PROCLAMATION, RESOLUTION AND PRESENTATION Resolution 2024-002 Atmos Mid-Tex RRM Settlement. Council Member Chris Avers made a motion to approve resolution 2024-002. Set public hearing and adoption of tax rate for Thursday September 12, 2024. Council may take any action deemed necessary. Council Member Carmen Neuwirth made a motion to propose at tax rate of.55 cents for FY24-25 tax year and schedule a public hearing for Thursday. September. 12, 2024 at 6:30 pm, to adopt the tax rate.
