PUBLIC COMMENTS: There were no comments made. 5. ACTION. ITEMS:  Item 5B was presented before. Item 5A.  A. Consider approval of minutes from the Park and Events meeting held  on May 30, 2024, as presented.  Vice President Maxfield moved to approve the minutes for the Park and Events  Board Meeting held April 15, 2024, as presented. Board Member Yeandle seconded the motion.  Motion carried - all ayes.  B. Receive updates on Park Maintenance. Presented by Katherine Reading, City Manager New volleyball net, pole reinforced Reinforced basketball goals and nets New H-frame trash barrels with lids July 12, 2024, volunteers to repaint pavilion posts Pavilion Policy will be brought up at the: next council meeting Formalized policy with active reservation form (individualized Both pavilions cannot be rented out at the same time  Social media posts  calendar on the form) Time limit  Amount to charge for rental for an organized event (suggestion: $75 refundable deposit, $25 use fee, 2 hr. min., 1hr. intervals)  We would provide an approval form  Report on stats:  We had 0 on! Report an Issue on the park  Rocks under swings- 1' low ofany filler. Putting anything under can mess up the stability of swing. We are still at the drawing board on this.  Park and Events Board Meeting Minutes, June 27, 2024    Grant funding- We are still waiting for the CBDG to comel back. Bolting tables down (safety issue)- consensus to bolt all tables down. Party table on the eastern side, tables close to street (west side) staggered where individual groups can bei in the same area. Requests for map of park for next meeting. Does the group want to entertain addressing code violations to! help citizens? We can ask Church'si ift they would be interested. We can put af form on the website to be nominated.  Wel have a license to spray weeds.  C.D Discuss and Consider an action list for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. Presented by Katherine Reading, City Manager  Updates: Outlay Budget  Bathrooms for the park will be going into our General Fund Capital Security system in the park is already in the budget Stage in the park for events (Will approach 4B Board) Red Brick project is on the website  Action items: Shade over splashpad Tennis court Resurface court Short basketball for kids Concrete pad for small basketball court Gaga ball Dog pots Dog water station Rubber for play area  New Business (Item added by Vice President Maxfield):  Events for summer Movie on the lawn Back to school event *Bring back items next month. *Do not take action items to councilyet.
