Glotfelty **No Quorum. ** Meeting called to order by Mayor Reckart at 7:01 PM. - - Opening prayer led by Rita Lambka, followed by the pledge of allegiance led by Mayor Reckart. Approval of Meeting Minutes from Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. **No Quorum. ** Recognized Guests: Diane Nye-Paugh - Is there an update on the coal bucket? Mayor Reckart and Barb have contacted those who were interested and requested a business plan from a few individuals, that we are still waiting on. Barb is still occupying the building, paying the bills, until she gets Sharon Paugh, Rita Lambka, Dale Lipscomb, Missi Nesselrodt, and Justin Nesselrodt were also in her stuff out. attendance with nothing to add. Grants: USDA - Dump truck- Was Built in Ohio, with ETA of07/03/2024 to 07/09/2024 Community Parks & Playgrounds - Bathrooms - Bid Packets have been completed. Mayor Reckart & Senior Councilman Brady are currently revising the dimensions for the new restroom Project Open Space - Portable Stage - We received an email that we got the approval to order and working on a new blueprint. the portable stage. CDBG- 1. Blighted Property = We got the "Green Light" to go ahead and advertise for the Environmental Specialist to come to inspect the building. Letters will be sent later this week, and an ad will be placed in the Republican Newspaper. 2. Community Legacy- Company Store Outside Façade. Old Business: Update on Security Systems - Work is complete at the school. Dave will be meeting with Beccie later this week to complete the set up of the security system SO that it will go "Live" July 1st. Water Issue - This was recently discussed ini the Commissioners meeting. The commissioners and the county public utilities are working as much as possible in order to get the issue resolved. New Business: Homecoming: Homecoming schedule has been posted and will be included in the newsletter Community Block Party: The date for the Back-to-School Block Party has been set for Saturday, that will be going out at the end of this week or next. August 17th, 2024. Budget for FY2025: The Mayor and Town Council have met in council chambers and decided on ab budget for FY2025. **No Quorum. ** Phone Vote was later executed that evening. seconded the motion. 4-0. Motion Carried. Councilman Brady made a motion to accept the proposed budget. Councilman Stieringer Councilmember Concerns: Councilmember Brady had nothing to report.
