Fortunately, we did not need access to the Fire Hydrant but it is a state law, that there is to be no parking in front of the Fire Hydrants. Could the sidewalk red in front of the fire hydrants to make them stand out a little more? we possibly paint  bulk pick up. The Empowerment group will be there will door prizes, to paint pumpkins with the kids, and willl be hosting a FREE movie night and will be having a "glow in the Dark" themed photo booth from 6:30P to 7Pi in the old entrance to the school. Would like to thank the Lion's Club for providing FREE food and drinks to everyone and would also like to thank the KVFD for providing FREE popcorn for those that will attend. Community Legacy Grant - Sidewalks - This has been assigned. a number, and we will have to holda public meeting to announce the opening of a bid for this. Mayor Reckart and Beccie are finishing putting USDA = Dump Truck-We have been approved, & thet final paperwork has been submitted. USDA will pay $50,000. Town must pay the rest. *Received: formal letter rightbefore the meeting started. * 1. Pond Project = Fixes to the sidewall, & fix the fountain. Vernon Paugh has still not responded to Beccie, even after she reached out. Beccie then took the time to contact 6 other mason workers. She 2. Electrical Upgrades to the Park- - Dixon Electric and Blamble Electric will be meeting with Community Action Economic Development Strategic Plan Grant - Brandon has been working with his  Grants:  together the bid packages. Project Open Space (POS)-  will be meeting with some of them and will follow-up with all.  Mayor to discuss details.  team to come up with a few ideas for Kitzmiller.  1. After his advertising team reviewed our website, there were a few things on there 2. The Old Bank Building, he questioned if the "Pop-Up" store is an option through  that could be updated and need to be added. Community Action and the Town.  Application Regional Commission Grant - David Cotton contacted Beccie to fill out some final  paperwork. Back to waiting. Old Business:  Third Street Storm Drains - Arnold Bros denied the job. Stated they were too busy. Reached out to Beitzel's twice, still no response afterthey stated they would get an estimate. Beccie reached out to8 other excavating providers & has sent them PDFS ofthe Blueprints.Theyr will be in contact and/or will be. Benches @ the Park - The Benches have been built. Should they be stained? Just as an extra layer of weather protection? *Mayor Reckart & Councilmember Brady stated that you must wait a year to stain  meeting Beccie to look at the street.,  treated lumber. * New Business:  Floor in Gym @ School - This floor is in desperate need of a rehaul. Riggleman's, Success, The Floor Store, & Cunningham Recreation have all been contacted to give us an estimate on the possibility of replacing the floor to give us an idea of how much it may cost to replace it. *Mayor Reckart. stated that Trick or Treat - October 28th - Councilmember Harvey made a motion to hold Trick or Treat on October ARP Funds - For employees that were working for the town during this time, should they get a bonus? Councilmember Nye-Paugh motioned to table this topic until we can hold another ARP Budget  *  this might be something that we can try to get covered by Project Open Space. 28th from 6P to 8P. Will also be reaching out to other excavating companies to get estimates. *Beccie had a complaint about the potholes on Oak Street, and they have been taken care of. * Councilmember Brady motioned to table this project until we receive an estimate idea of how much it will be.
