In order to counteract this, the parish is proposing to erect aj permanent sign on the hillside in front of the church, where the temporary sign for the pollinator garden is currently. The sign would be approximately 9-feet wide by five feet tall. It would be placed at an angle, sO as tol be visible from both Washington and Greene streets, as well as from across the bridge. It would be made of poly-wood, supported in a steel frame that would bei invisible to the public. The sign would be two-tone, with a "patriot blue" upper portion and a light gray" lower portion (see samples of material), with a "Chippendale" top (see attached proposal from Kenney Signs). The sign would be supported with two pressure-treated 4x4 boards with white poly sleeves around them (making the wood invisible, see attached Amazon listing), and topped with two decorative solar-powered lanterns that would provide a professional-looking finish to the posts without being bright enough to distract (see attached.
