Ln Yankeetown, FI. 34498 Subject: Dying tree on towns alley! 55 The tree in question stands directly behind my house at 856th street on alley! 55. One part of the trunk fell during hurricane Debbie and was removed by Scott Gibson, who is contracted by thei town. Scott informed me the remaining section oft thei tree is rotten and is al hazard to the surrounding homes, utility lines and water line. Ihave been to city hall numerous times alerting them to my concern about the tree and the damage it may cause when iti is uprooted or falls during a wind storm. The town had the opportunity to remove thei tree when the water line was broken by another tree during hurricane Helene. The equipment was available at that time to remove the tree but the town neglected the opportunity. When canlexpect this hazardous tree to be removed? Also, when is the city going to clean up the alley where the tree was removed to repair the water line? There are tree limbs, roots and other debris scattered along the alley.
