CALLTOORDER ROLL CALL present. INVOCATION Mayor Wagner called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. Slavens, Roberson and Wagner were present. Mathis was absent. Staff: Town Clerk Borja, Town Administrator Sandoval and Finance Director Peterson were The invocation was given by Cora Roberson. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Pledge of Allegiance led by all. SPECIAL MEETING BUSINESS The Approval Resolution R-2024-20 Declaring a Local State of Emergency for Hurricane RESOLUTION R-2024-20: A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LAKE HAMILTON, POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA, DECLARING Al LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR: HURRICANE MILTON SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Wagner opened the public hearing; with no comments thej public hearing was closed. Motion made by Roberson and a second by Slavens to approve Resolution R-2024-20 Declaring Milton.
