Public hearing to consider the proposed City of Calexico Apartment Condominium Building project for consistency with the Imperial County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. The City of Calexico is in receipt of a uniform application for a: zone change from R- 1( (Residential Single Family) to RC (Residential Condominium) and a general plan amendment from LDR (low Density Residential) to MDR (Medium Density Residential) to facilitate the development of a 7,656 sq. ft residential condominium style apartment building within the City of Calexico limits. The project's purpose is to provide residential housing and will comply with the City of Calexico's development standards of its respective zone should the zone change, and general plan amendment to be approved.
