PUBLIC COMMENT TELEPHONE/IN PERSON  3900 MAIN STREET  PRESENT: ABSENT:  Chair Perry, Vice Chair Conder, and Member Mill  None  STAFF PRESENT: Diana Alegria, Ruby Leann Castillo, Tom Chisum, Frank Arreola, Lee  Withers, Alex Rendon, Chekesha Gilliam, Sandy Garcia Vazquez,  Damian Fussel, Robert Filiar, and others  Chair Perry convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m. ORAL COMMUNICATION FROMTHE. AUDIENCE There was no one wishing to address the Committee. SHOPPING CART RETRIEVAL PROGRAM  Following discussion, it was moved by Member Mill and seconded by Vice Chair Conder to (1) continue the Shopping Cart Retrieval Program update to the Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee meeting in September and (2) request that the City Attorney's Office bring back theft related information concerning shopping carts for further discussion. The  motion carried unanimously. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE  Chekesha Gilliam provided the legislative update. ITEMS FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION There were no future items requested at this time.
