VILLAGE OF WESLEY CHAPEL COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Sept. 26, 2023, at7 PM Village Hall, 6490 Weddington Road, Wesley Chapel, NC 28104 1. Call to Order/ Determination of Quorum Meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by Chairman Franchesca Mazariegos. It was held on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, due to scheduling conflicts by the group for the Present: Chair Franchesca Mazariegos; Vice Chair Chris McBride, and committee member Joel Down: Absent: Pauline Morris. Page two 9/26/2023 Communications Minutes C.A Additional recruiting opportunities: Bledsoe reported that she spoke with Village Mayor Amanda Fuller about passing out flyers in the schools about future events or the need for volunteers. Fuller advised against it, saying that anything the schools passed out had to be approved by the Union County Public Schools. She felt the county would say no because the Village flyers would not be school related. 6. New Business a. In light of Como's comments, the committee discussed how to promote the Village's 2050 Comprehensive Plan. Joel Down volunteered to look over the 2050 vision plan and come up with some snippets that highlight the plan. These b.
